This building was primarily a evangelical church built in 1898 in this mixture of style mauresque and gothic the Austrian seemed to favor for their constructions in Sarajevo. After WWII it became the art academy and still is. The facade has just been renovated. It is beautiful although we liked the old yellow colour better!
Ce bâtiment contruit en 1898 était une église évangélique du style gothico-mauresque que les Autrichiens ont utilisé partout à Sarajevo. Après la deuxième guerre mondiale elle a été convertie en académie des Beaux-arts ce qu'elle est encore. La rénovation de la facade est juste terminée. Joli, mais la couleur d'avant, un beau jaune, nous plaisait plus!
