On June 21 1981, in the then small village of Međugorije, six children had a vision of Mary mother of Jesus. On the second day, the Holy Mother talked to them and prayed with them. She appears since that day to them almost every day and on every 25th of each month she gives a ˝message˝ of peace. This phenomenon has drawn crowds of Catholics from around the world (about 20 million) to this forsaken place of Herzegovina. A typical pilgrim will go through a schedule of prayers, confessions, ascent of the mountain on the knees on the rocks etc.. (for info see www.medugorije.hr).

Le 21 juin 1981, dans le petit village de Međugorije, la Vierge est apparue à six enfants. Le deuxième jour la Sainte Mère leur a parlé et prié avec eux. Depuis ce jour elle leur apparaît presque chaque jour et tous les 25 du mois donne un message de paix. Ce phénomène draine des foules de catholiques du monde entier (plus de 20 millions depuis 1981) dans cet endroit perdu de Herzégovine.
